Geometer Sketchpad Available as iPad App for Exploring Dynamic Math

Sketchpad Explorer provides an intuitive environment for exploring Dynamic Geometry mathematics. When I provided professional development for teachers in a couple dozen schools where we launched one-to-one laptop programs I found that Geometer’s Sketchpad was popular among math teachers because it offers students a tangible, visual way to learn mathematics while increasing their engagement, understanding and achievement. Students are able to create mathematical models in multiple ways to explore principles, test conjectures and illustrate myriad concepts.
